How does Excel Compare work?
Upload two .xlsx, .xls, or .csv files, pick a sheet from each, and compare cell by cell. Changed cells, values only in the original, and values only in the changed file are highlighted.
Are my Excel files uploaded?
No. Files are read and compared entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Does it compare formulas or formatting?
It compares displayed cell values. Formulas, styles, charts, and merged-cell layout are not compared in this version.
Is Excel Compare free to use?
Yes. All Neemtools utilities are free to use with no signup required.
Is my data uploaded when I use Excel Compare?
